for all trekking activities in the area.
Designed for those who have only few days in El
Calafate, and wish to discover this region of
Los Glaciares National Park enjoying wonderful
hiking days with cozy lodging at the village.

We are
going to explore in two days the same trails that the
greatest alpinists in history walked several years ago
to reach the base camps, and climb from there these
amazing granite walls.
Our offer is a great itinerary along different
viewpoints from where we can see the lagoons, glaciers,
colossal patagoniana granite walls, through the Magellan
forest. |

Previous walking or trekking experience is not required.
Reasonable health are necessary to walk and enjoy the
outdoors. Any person who normally walks, plays golf,
tennis or any other sports can do this type of walking
without any problem at all.
The programs normally involve day hikes with lodging in
hotels, lodges, estancias and often rest days between
walking days.
Short walks between 3 to 8 hours, returning to the lodge
in the evening.
Gentle elevation gain or drop (100 to 400 mts)
Lodging in hosterias, hotels, lodges or estancias, very
rarely in organised campsites.

| Day
1: Upon your
arrival to El Chaltén, a Fitz Roy Expediciones guide
will meet you and plan the activities
for the following days. Accommodation in Hotel/Lodge.
Day 2: Full
day trek to Lake Capri and Lake De Los Tres, the base
camp of Fitz Roy; and Piedras Blancas
Glacier.
In the afternoon, we return to the Hotel/Lodge in El
Chaltén.
Day 3: Full
day trek along Fitz Roy River’s viewpoint and De
Agostini base-camp, to reach Lake Torre and
Maestri’s
first campsite. In the afternoon, we return to the
Hotel/Lodge in El Chaltén.
Day 4: Breakfast.
End of services. |
