Day 1: Tambo
Quemado - Chungará - Parinacota - Putre
Reception in the
frontier or border control of Chungara 09:00 hrs. approx.
We will have breakfast in mirador Lake Chungara mas it
takes, walk in Lagoons Cotacotani of approximately 3 hours (optional).
we will Make the picnic - lunch in the town of Parinacota, we
will travel the town. We will continue later toward the Bofedal de
las Cuevas where we will make a walk of 40 min. In the road we
will see wild vicuñas, vizcachas and we will know bofedales,
base of the ecosystem in the highland, later we will go to Termas
de Jurasi where we will take bathrooms in this place. Arrival to
Putre ,dinner and lodging.
Day 2: Putre -
Salar de Surire - Arica
Departure from Putre to the 08:00 hrs aprox. Breakfast
Bofedal de las Cuevas (4310 msnm). Visiting posterioremente Ancuta and
Guallatire, two populated altiplánicos on 4000 meters of altitude to the feet of the active
volcano Guallatire. Ending in Salar de Surire at 12:00 hrs.
approx. We will visit Chilcaya making a walk of one hour approximately to photograph the flora and fauna in this National Monument; then we leave to the
Thermal baths Polloquere to 4270 msnm, picnic and bathrooms in this place.
Return to Arica to the 16:00 hrs approx.
