HOSTERIA MIRADOR DEL PAYNE

Mirador del Payne is part of the Estancia El Lazo, a livestock center that dates from the late years of the last century.

The first settlers who lived in this area were Mr. Heede and Mr. Gliman, who built the first constructions by 1894, in the beautiful landscape of Laguna Verde.

By 1970, Marcelino Iglesias Estrada, a brave livestock pioneer in the Patagonia, who was born in Asturias (Province of España), together with his wife, Catalina Sesnic Plastic, give origin to the actual livestock center.

Their children and grandchildren have followed the familiar tradition, devoted to keep the roots and the pioneer spirit of their ancestors.

Our Estancia has 14.000 hectares, and its main activity is the cattle raising of the Hereford breed.

From 1998 we have incorporated a comfortable Tourist Resort, where you will enjoy beautiful landscapes with the most attractive flora and fauna of our region, emphasizing the privileged view of the Massif of the Paine, imposing lakes, glaciers and millenary forests.

Over the memories of the old estancia and the typical architecture of the Patagonia, we have fulfilled the dream of sharing this magic place with you.

Rooms and Meals

Hostería.
-It has 20 comfortable rooms with private bath and central heating.
-Module Las Golondrinas: It has 12 double rooms and a living-room.
-Module Las Bandurrias: It has 8 double and triple rooms.
-Module Los Teros: Reception, living-room with a fireplace, dining room with a capacity for 40 people, bar.

Meals.
-You will have the possibility of enjoying the most delicious meals of Magallanes, exquisite spit-roast lamb, regional salmon, hot soups to be eaten at the back of every excursion. Daily Menu: Regional Breakfast, Lunch and dinner, Box lunch for the excursions.

BOOKINGS AND PREPAYMENT POLICY

RESERVATIONS AND LOCKS
         1 .- The reservation and locks should be made only by fax or mail, which will be answered by the same means.
       2 .- To make a reservation is considered as such, must make a prepayment of 100% of the total value of this, within 72 hours after confirmation of availability. This Condition applies to groups and individuals.
        3 .- The reservations made less than 30 days notice must comply with the prepayment of 100% within 24 hours, otherwise will be automatically canceled without notice.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES:
       1 .- The cancellations or modifications should be like the reservations made via mail.
      2 .- The cancellations and modifications of groups and individuals are subject to the following penalty:
a) Until 60 days before the date of entry of passengers, hand made by our respective prepaid return of 30%
b) Between 59 and 40 days before the date of entry for passengers, claiming 70% of the total reservation.
c) Between 39 days and less to claim the 100% total reservation
       3 .- Once confirmed the withdrawal or modification, Hotel Rio Serrano is in absolute freedom to dispose of the rooms, but such are subject to replacement or restriction of any kind by the applicant.

THE NO SHOW
         If any one does not show both groups and individual, will be charged the full value of the reservation.
In the case of the Guides The hotel has no alternative accommodation that is not the same for passengers.
It is recommended the pre-positioning of rooming list of the incoming group to expedite the service at reception

Groups are considered:
GROUPS (over 8 passengers including the driver and guide)

Individuals are considered:
INDIVIDULALES (up to 7 passengers)
