The
Aiken del Sur Park is a magnificent private ecotourist reservation
located in a place with a unique natural beauty. The park's inner
side is on the border os a long and leafy bank of Riesco Lake,
whih has peaceful, blue and crystal clear waters, close to natural
meadows, native woodlands and a rich autochthonous fauna from the
Chilean Patagonia.
The
Aiken del Sur has been implemented with an infrastructure
consisting of footpaths, infographies, rest rooms, and a
"Quincho" Restaurant. The park has been conceived for
exploring virgin lands in the Chilean Patagonia in a comfortable
and educational environment.
Three Natural Footpaths
Footpaths have a special pavement, catwalks and resting places and they tell us about the bio-geographical history of each place by means of educational stations. There you will enjoy the wonderful sceneries of the lake, river and nearby hills and mountains, as well as singing of som of the local birds such as Chucao and Hueta birds.
"Quincho" Lounge
This typical place has a capacity for over 100 people consisting of a main fireplace for preparing the traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue and a bar for tasting a pisco sour reception toast and the finest Chilean wines.
Visitors' Center
It has interactive exhibitions on the local flora, fauna and anthropology. Bilingual guides will host and escort you all over your visit, taking care of your safety and well-being. The Visitors' Center has services and access facilities for impaired persons, first aid rooms and a handicraft shop.
The
Aiken del Sur Park is a private reservation where Patagonian
biodiversity can be found in its purest condition. For this
we took care of implementing educational stations in all
three footpaths for our visitors to get information on local
species and their characteristics.
Discover
the astonishing flora and fauna from the Chilean Patagonia
in this magnificent ecotourism reservation having a surface
of 250 hectareas. Go through its all three footpaths and get
to know countless species of plants and animals such as
myrtle, myrtaceous trees, cunoniaceous trees, tepa trees,
pangue (Gunnera scombro), ferns chucao birds, hueta that
mave freely around the Aiken del Sur Park.
TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
RATES:
Rates are expressed in US Dollars and its equivalent in
Chilean pesos will be the one used by airlines at the time.
MasterCard, Visa, Magna, Diners credit cards, Chilean pesos and US
dollars are accepted. Rates may be changed without previous advice.
RESERVATIONS:
The total payment must be received for your reservation , 60 days
before arrival or beginning of this adventure.
MODIFICATIONS:
The passenger will be able to change the date of de trip, only once,
depending on availability and 15 days before the start of the original
trip to the San Rafael Glacier. After this date, there will be
no change whatsoever.
CONVEY:
The ticket may be made over or passed on by owner of the said ticket,
when prior notice is given to the Company by written and signed
document, by the owner of the ticket, up to a period of 10 days before
the navigating date.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations must be received in written by fax or e-mail.
Cancellations before 45 days will be accepted without charge, after
which the following refunds will strictly apply:
•Anulation superior to 45 before the trip
90% of the total value will be deduced.
•Anulation between 30 and 20 days before the trip 70% of the total value will be
deduced.
•Anulation between 19 and 8 days before the trip 80% of the total value will be
deduced.
•Anulation between 7 and 0 days before the trip won't have refund.
The
corresponding repayment will be made within 30 days of cancellation
date. Deposit is not refundable.
NON
PRESENTATION: Passengers not presenting themselves on time
and at the place specified on the ticket, is not allowed to complain.
There will be not indemnity or any refund on the amount paid.
INSURANCE:
Medical insurance up to US$ 1.300 is provided by Catamaranes del Sur
in case of accident occurred in our Catamaran. Passenger are
entitled to contract their own insurance if they desire.
ITINERARIES:
The Company can modify the route, stop, change time of departure at
any time. We recommend confirmation 24 hours before departure.
