The Estancia Tercera Barranca (Ranch) is located in the sector of Laguna Azul, about 130 kms from Puerto Natales. The Estancia has an area of almost 6.454 hectares and was initially decidated to livestock, but now provides high quality accomodation and tourism opportunities very close to Torres del Paine National Park.

It has 7 guest rooms with private bathroom and central heating, a lounge area with fireplace and a Quincho where guests can enjoy a tradicional Patagonian barbecue, while at every moment they have a privilieged view of the famous Torres del Paine. The delicious meals provided are traditional and organic, with the majority of ingredients being produced on the Estancia.

Located in a natural setting, ideal for rest and contemplation of the local flora and fauna, it is not unusual to see guanacos, rheas, condors, foxes, skunks, among others. In addition, you can enjoy  hiking, horseback riding and subsistence activities such as herding cattle and sheep shearing. Located  just 17 km from the Laguna Amarga entrance to the Park, you can also access the park by day, to enjoy activities and the breathtaking  scenery.

To enter the Estancia it is recommended to do in a 4x4 vehicle by the road to Cerro Guido or to cross the Rio Las Chinas and enter for Porteria Sarmiento - Laguna Amarga. If you plan to arrive by regular bus from Natales you should get off at Laguna Amarga and wait for our transport.
